The Manta Resort occupies a private stretch of Pemba’s Manta Bay, built around diving Pemba’s largely untouched reef walls. Its most famous feature is a small floating structure moored offshore with a bedroom below the waterline, glass on all sides, reef fish visible through the night. The rest of the resort is a normal (excellent) beach property — thatched rooms, a dive centre, and very few other guests.
