8 Days 7 Nights Wildebeest Migration in the Northern Serengeti.
Witness one of nature’s most awe-inspiring spectacles on this 8-day, 7-night Wildebeest Migration Safari in the Northern Serengeti — an unforgettable adventure designed around the peak season of the Great Migration.
Every year, over 1.5 million wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and gazelles, thunder across the plains of the Serengeti in search of fresh grazing. In the northern region, near the Mara River, this epic journey reaches its most dramatic phase: heart-pounding river crossings, where herds brave strong currents and lurking crocodiles in a battle for survival.
Your journey begins with visits to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants and baobabs, and Lake Manyara National Park, known for tree-climbing lions and lush landscapes. You’ll then head into the endless plains of the Central Serengeti, rich with predators and dramatic wildlife encounters.
The highlight of your safari is several days in the Northern Serengeti, ideally timed for the migration. With expert guides, you’ll track herds along the Mara River, witness crossings if you’re lucky, and encounter Africa’s iconic predators in action — lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more.
Conclude your adventure with a visit to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, offering a final opportunity to spot the Big Five in one of the most beautiful natural settings on Earth.
This 8-day itinerary is perfect for wildlife lovers, photographers, and safari enthusiasts eager to experience the raw drama and beauty of the Great Migration at its finest.
